Statistical Atlas of dolnośląskie Voivodeship Society – Quality of Life - Space
The publication is a cartographic study containing a comprehensive set of statistical maps and charts illustrating social and economic processes and phenomena in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship at the level of counties (powiats) and municipalities (gminas), as well as on a 5×5 km grid, enabling spatial analysis and interpretation of the data.
Particular attention is given to changes occurring in cities of different sizes and in rural areas, which are presented according to the Rural Areas Delimitation (DOW), grouping rural municipalities into four categories.
The atlas contains statistical data grouped into 8 thematic sections: territory and its administrative division, population, labour market and income, education, housing and housing services, health and social welfare, civil society and development expenditure, and environment and environmental quality. The presented data refer to 2024 or the most recent available year. To illustrate changes over time, selected phenomena are shown in a longer-term retrospective perspective.
